RARE vintage snowshoes made by Floyd Westover between 1964 and 1968 in Gloversville, NY. Floyd hand-made these snowshoes and was the first to combine the bear paw and beavertail designs into the "Westover Modified Bearpaw" with a slightly upturned toe.
These snowshoes feature Floyd's mark and "14x35" on the tail (measurements). These date between 1964 and 1968 because in 1964 Westover switched to neoprene lacing and in 1968 he sold out to Snocraft. A true piece of Americana! As-is.
