Vintage The ho-o bird is a mythical creature from Chinese mythology that incorporates parts of several creatures such as the rooster, mandarin duck, peacock, crane, and pheasant. Often misidentified as a phoenix by Western consumers in the early twentieth century.<br>This beautiful ceramic turquoise creature is gracefully standing with one talon raised on a magenta colored floral lotus vines. Made in the early 20th century, 1910-1950.<br>Measures approximately 11 1/2 inches tall and is in beautiful vintage condition.
