"Printmaker and educator David F. Driesbach was born in 1922 in Wausu, WI. He studied at Beloit College from 1946-47, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts from 1947-48, and University of Iowa from 1948-51, receiving his BFA and MFA. His work can be found in many public collections, including Seattle Art Museum, Seattle, WA; Dayton Art Institute, Dayton, OH; and Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Paris, France. Driesbach died in 2019 in Wheaton, IL."
