The PING Eye 2 irons were initially released in September 1982, with the orange dot marking appearing in later models. The "Eye2+" model, which included the orange dot (denoting a 2° flat lie angle) and increased groove width, was introduced in April 1990. To be honest you can compare these to other orange dot sets and I don’t think you will find a cleaner set. Why over pay for irons when you can have these brilliantly made irons.
