Very nice and interesting antique French Faience dinner plate, decorated with the Napoleonic eagle. Label dated 1804, indicating an early 19th-century origin.
Features one rather large chip on the rim (hardly noticeable from the front), as well as numerous rim frits and glaze flaws, common for period faience. 9 1/8” wide.
