Stunning Circa 1900 Marked A*D (Andreas Daubs) German-Made Flowers Spray with a Seed Pearl Accent 9K Yellow Gold Double Plated Antique Brooch. This piece of exquisite jewelry has an amazing precise design balance and is a very detailed work of turn of the 20th century ART!<br><br>The back of the piece contains the additional marks "AM. DBLE.". This stands for Amerikaner and Double (pronounced - doo blay). These marks indicate the piece is double gold plated and the design is patented, or not to be reproduced. <br><br>Prior to WWI (before 1914), the AMERIKANER standard in Germany was to double plate 9K gold (333-375/1000 gold) over a silver/copper base metal.<br><br>Measures approx 2 1/4 inches long x 1 1/4 inches wide.<br><br>The piece is in absolutely beautiful condition with some light wear scratches.<br><br>Please take a look at the photos for details and feel free to ask questions.
