1987 Ferrari F40 1:18 scale model car. Made in Italy by Bburago di Molgora. Limited Edition Version Collection. The Ferrari F40, celebrating Ferrari's 40th anniversary, debuted in 1987.
The F40 was Ferrari’s first road car to feature composite materials such as Kevlar for the frame, carbon fiber for the bodywork, resin for the fuel tanks, and Plexiglass for the side windows. At the time of its launch, it was the fastest road car ever built, with a top speed of 199 mph.
Built for only five years, from 1987 until 1992, only 1315 cars left the Maranello factory. This 1:18 scale model car is extremely sleek and dazzling, the finish, detail, and quality are of a very high standard. (Has a very minor scratch on the windshield). As-is.
